Theta healing

Colors of Time - by Anne VisThis past weekend I took a class in DNA theta healing. I was basically just curious and looking for anything that might deepen and expand my healing experience as well as raise my frequencies.

This class was given in San Francisco by
Dr. Lisa Cooney. Although Theta healing also works on the DNA, just like Reconnective Healing, it is quite different in how to accomplish that. In Reconnective Healing you just focus on the frequencies as a healer, need not know anything about your client and let the frequencies do their work. As healer you just make sure you're out of the way. In Theta healing, you connect to Source and then command Source to do certain things for you, which you, as a healer, then witness. So although in both cases you let Source, Creator or Universe do the healing, in Theta healing you need to be more specific about what you ask for. In Reconnective Healing it is assumed that Universe already knows what this person you are working with needs.

So far theory. Now this weekend I have been impressed with the healings I have witnessed. I have seen "walk-ins" being guided back to the light and the profound changes that had on the people involved. And other clear changes happen all through the weekend in each participant in this class. And I can't help wondering if that would also happen in Reconnective Healing. I have seen miracles in Reconnective Healing happen in my own practice, don't get me wrong, but it seems to me that Theta healing gives more answers to questions and may have more learning opportunities.

Last night I did a distance Reconnective healing for someone and was again curious as to how it works: the person I worked with felt instant relief in an area I had no idea was bothering her and had not worked on either ... ;-) In Theta healing such a miracle may be unlikely as you are working with specific issues and questions. I guess there is a place for both ways of healing and I intend to continue to explore both (or whatever else may come on my path ... :-))

Healings in San Francisco

Last Sunday a friend took me to San Francisco Center for Spiritual Living on 280 Claremont Blvd in San Francisco. It turned out that they had a healing session after the service and I was happy to be able to offer Reconnective Healings.

This Center has healings ever second Sunday in the month, so if you are in the neighborhood ... I may be participating next month as well, and healings are free ... so this is your opportunity! :-)

The image above is a view from Mt Davidson. Somebody once said to me it is impossible to have small thoughts when you have such great views ... :-)

I am still doing healings for the people of Gaza on a daily basis, if anyone has any knowledge of or knows somebody who is working with regrowing limbs, either in science or alternative healing, I'd love to be in touch ...

When I got together yesterday with a group of dear friends, whom I had not seen for more than eight months, one of them asked about a guy who was in my life last spring. That particular connection ended on a very bad note as I was treated meanly. And I told my friend exactly how I felt about that guy: I was still very mad and even to the point of wanting revenge!

Well, that is of course not very New Age, actually "not done". I should have forgiven this guy long ago and moved on in my pink world of happiness and success ...

Except I did not feel that way ...

My friend however, reacted very interested: "Cool. What do you plan on doing?", he said. And then proceeded to fantasize about how fun it would be to be creative with craigslist and ...
"Oh, yes," another friend jumped in and came up with some other "torture plan". Before I knew we were all roaring with laughter and coming up with one revenge plan after another. We all got a bit carried away and I was contemplating the idea of bribing a schoolboy into setting up an ambush with a water pistol ...

I think forgiveness can not be forced, it has its own timing. I am not even sure it is necessary to forgive.
Given the enthusiastic reaction of my friends on just the word "revenge", I suspect that I am not alone in sometimes having these feelings. I think it triggered something inside that we may all have.
Instead of forcefully trying to forgive as is preached in the New Age church, I found that sharing my "forbidden" feelings with my friends turned into a very liberating experience, for which I feel very grateful towards them:
instead of feeling anger when thinking about this "mean" guy, I can't stop laughing now ... :-)
